Willis Re enjoyed a good night at The Review Worldwide Reinsurance Awards, winning the 2009 Analyst/Research Award.

The prize, given in the Dorchester Hotel in London, recognised the biggest collaborative effort between scientists and insurers in the Willis Research Network (WRN).

The WRN participates in sponsorship at more than a score of prestigious universities across the globe in a range of fields including the environment, finance, and law.

The award was given on the basis of excellent contribution to the intellectual base of the insurance sector and the highest quality analytical research in the industry.

Singled out for particular praise was the open and collaborative style of WRN’s research approach.

WRN Chairman Rowan Douglas thanked the clients, staff, and partners of WRN for their role in helping make WRN so successful.
