Increasing litigation in the UK has seen a proliferation of accident management firms handling personal injury claims.

However, businesses can now fight back and save millions of pounds as Itsmyclaim.com enables individuals to handle their own personal injury claim.

The website, specifically designed to be user friendly, permits individuals to deal with their own claims and thereby removes the necessity for an accident management firm, saving business money on legal costs which are added to any payouts.

Legal costs and other less prominent expenses such as referral and medical report company fees further raise the cost for business and are rarely seen by the consumer.

Personal injury claims led to payouts of £4.4bn, and for claims under £5,000, almost as much was paid in legal fees as compensation (93p in legal fees for every £1 of compensation, according to the ABI).
