Aon appoints two MDs
Aon Risk Services has announced a pair of appointments, with Jim Herbert and Ian McLellan named as managing directors of its Corporate & Affinity businesses, respectively.
They will both report directly to the CEO of Aon Corporate & Affinity, Robert Brown.
Herbert becomes MD of Corporate, the team of brokers which is dedicated to handling middle to large-sized British companies.
He joined the firm last year as a regional director, leaving behind Aon, and has presided over a rise in both the revenue and profit of the central region of the Corporate business.
McLellan’s new role is as MD of Affinity, catering to SMEs, affinity schemes, professional services and private clients and providing them with insurance programmes.
He will retain his position as Product Design and Development Unit (PDDU) MD, a post he was appointed to earlier in the year.
