Palmer-Brown to join JLT

Jonathan Palmer-Brown is to join Jardine Lloyd Thompson (JLT) to take up a position in its team of senior managers.

He will join the firm once he is at liberty to do so, at which time he will take a place on JLT’s Executive Committee.

Palmer-Brown will come to the firm equipped with many years of experience in the insurance industry, particularly the aviation sector, including a stint as deputy chairman of Aon Limited.

He presently serves as chairman of the London and International Insurance Brokers’ Association (LIIBA), and is a member of the London Market Reform Group.

In addition he chairs the LIIBA Aviation Executive.

Group chief executive officer Dominic Burke has warmly welcomed Palmer-Brown’s appointment, and praised his reputation and record in the insurance sector.
