International specialty property/casualty insurer and reinsurer Catlin Group has announced it is bolstering its London market aviation underwriting team with the additions of Richard Power and Mark Stanley.
Power’s appointment to senior underwriter is effective from 1 August and he will lead the firm’s airline underwriting team.
Previously he worked for C.V. Starr & Company as airline practice leader and has also been an underwriter for Global Aerospace.
Stanley will become an underwriter for Catlin on 16 September and will lead the firm’s aviation products and airport underwriting in London.
He has worked for Global Aerospace as an underwriter for more than two decades.
The aviation team will be further enhanced with the appointment of Paul Cooper, presently of Catlin Guernsey, as class underwriter specialising in airline accounts.
Lastly, Fiona Hodgson has joined Catlin in London to serve as senior aviation claims adjuster.
