Independent insurance broker Giles Insurance Brokers Ltd enjoyed a good night at The Sunday Times PricewaterhouseCoopers Profit Track 100 Awards Dinner, winning the Value Creation Award.

The Value Creation Award is given in recognition of businessmen who create value over a three year period.

Earlier in the year Giles came third in the Buyout Track 100 league table in accordance with its status as the third most rapidly expanding private-equity backed company in the UK during the last two years.

The firm also finished in the top 10 of the Profit Track 100, due to its ranking as one of the fastest growing firms over the last three years.

Giles has grown so rapidly through a combination of organic and acquisitive growth, and Chief Executive Chris Giles has expressed his delight at winning the Value Creation Award and paid tribute to the hard work and dedication of the broker’s staff.
