Amlin appoints head of Aggregate Modelling

Jean-Bernard Crozet has been named by Amlin as the firm’s new head of Aggregate Modelling for Amlin London, a global specialty business including the aviation, marine, property & casualty and reinsurance business units.

He is presently an associate director in the Actuarial Practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), and has worked for PwC for the last four years.

Prior to that he served with Alea (KKR Group) and OP Re (UPS Group) as VP and underwriter.

Crozet will report directly to Simon Beale, director of Amlin London Underwriting.

In his new position he will become responsible for the aggregate modelling function, setting the direction of modelling catastrophe risk and controlling risk aggregate within appetite.

In addition Crozet will be tasked with operational responsibility for compliance monitoring and aggregate reporting to management.
