Aspray has good beginning to 2009
Aspray Ltd has enjoyed a good start to the year despite the more competitive insurance management sector.
The family-run business has seen interest increase and has opened half a dozen new branches in the UK and two in Ireland, bringing its total in both countries to 52 branches.
Aspray was founded in 2005, and has not had an altogether smooth ride, with the FSA fining the firm £21,000 last year for inadequate administration.
Spokesman James Whittle explained that the business was shocked and devastated by the fine, particularly given the complete lack of complaints by clients.
Following the administrative fine, Whittle contacted Ecompli to enhance the work of the few branches responsible, and Ecompli has subsequently become an instrumental partner in development and training in every one of Aspray’s branches.
Suzanne Gibson, MD of Ecompli, has stated that Aspray has fully implemented all the advice put forward by her firm and is now operating wholly in accordance with the necessary rules and standards.
