Global insurance broker Willis Group Holdings has named Les Boughner as executive VP and MD of its Willis HRH Captive Management Practice, which is responsible for the setting up and management of captives for its North American clients.

Before joining Willis he worked in Chicago for Arch Insurance Company and Zurich Insurance Company, occupying senior posts with both firms.

In his new role Boughner will supervise all North American captive management and consulting operations.

He will be based in Burlington, Vermont and be directly responsible to Tom Coughlin, national partner of Willis HRH.

Coughlin has welcomed Boughner’s appointment, praising his three decades of experience in the field and stating he expected the new appointee to make a strong contribution to Willis HRH.
