Insurance litigation firm Keoghs LLP has announced that Daryl Booth has been appointed as chief operating officer and joins the firm’s board.
Booth leaves behind Cheshire Building Society to join Keoghs, and has previously occupied senior posts with Deloitte, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Barclays Bank.
As chief operating officer he has been tasked with responsibility for operational and change management functions, as well as IT infrastructure.
Chief executive officer John Whittle has welcomed Booth’s appointment, adding that a robust IT infrastructure is essential as the firm continues its rapid expansion.
In addition to Booth, Keoghs has recently hired David Pugh and Christina Davies.
Pugh joins the disease team, and is to be based at Keoghs’ Coventry office. He joins from Halliwells where he had success with cases in the Court of Appeal and House of Lords and accumulated extensive experience of advisory work in relation to the Ministry of Defence, local authorities, large multinational corporations and the NHS.
Davies is a new partner of the Large Loss team, and also joins from Halliwells, bringing with her years of experience in dealing with catastrophic injury.
