Global risk and reinsurance specialist Guy Carpenter & Company, LLC has announced a raft of hires across the Latin America and Caribbean regions.

Albert J. Fischl joins the Latin America and Caribbean treaty team, and will be tasked with further fostering the firm’s business relationships as well as enhancing Guy Carpenter’s regional presence.

He will be directly responsible to Hugh Powell, chief executive officer of the firm’s Latin America and Caribbean operations.

Fischl will collaborate closely with fellow new appointment Susana Guzman who takes up the post of senior broker.

Guzman will report to Fischl, and both are to be based in Guy Carpenter’s office in Mexico City.

In addition, Diana Mann has joined as manager of treaty operations within Chile, based in Santiago.

Mann will work to bolster business relationships in the region and reports to Hernán Irarrázaval, chief operating officer of Guy Carpenter’s Latin America & Caribbean operations.
