Alan Gray opens London office and appoints European director
Alan Gray, Inc. has set up London offices that will serve as a headquarters for European expansion.
The US claims audit company has also appointed Julian Ward, a former chief executive officer of JTW Reinsurance Consultants, as its director of European operations.
Mr Ward’s initial task is to build on Alan Gray’s presence and reputation in Europe by handling “complex and problem” insurance and reinsurance negotiations and acting as a point of reference for European clients needing to manage their businesses and exposures in the US.
The new director is confident that the post will allow him to maximise on the “work, contacts and reputation” built up during his time with JTW.
Alan Gray president, Mike Ceppi, adds: “Having established ourselves as a leading provider of claims, accounting and legal fee audit services throughout North America, we are now thrilled to have someone with Julian’s experience and reputation join the company and head up our new London operations.”
The group has offices in Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Hartford, Charlotte and Los Angeles and its clients include AIG, Allstate, Aon, AXA, Berkshire Hathaway, Bank of America, Lexington and Liberty Mutual.
The firm’s particular area of specialisation is in asbestos and other environmental claims.
