Garwyn appoints Lane as Midlands manager
Loss adjuster Garwyn has appointed Ian Lane as regional manager for the Midlands.
In the newly created role, Lane will take responsibility for the activities at Garwyn’s Burton-on-Trent and Bromsgrove offices.
“Whilst we have had operations in both locations for a number of years, we felt there was a strong advantage in bringing them both under the control of one regional manager,” said Declan Treanor, Garwyn’s chief executive officer.
Treanor added that combining the two offices into a single operation will enable the company to offer better customer service.
Lane, who as worked at Garwyn for 14 years, sees improving customer service as key to his new role.
“We are seeing a number of clients demanding a faster turn-around on cases as the pressure on their own businesses increases,” Lane said.
“Our goal with this new management of the Midlands operation is to provide our clients with a swifter response, whilst ensuring that the quality of service does not slip.”
He added that the combined offices will still be able to exploit their local knowledge, whilst having them work together will ensure maximum efficiency.
