| April 22, 2009 | 0 Comments

Iprism has embarked upon a number of strategic partnerships with a number of brokers and distribution partners, with the result of a minimum of £10m GWP extra business passing via its portal.

With the extra transacted business the online SME comparative quote facility is on course to achieve a 2010 figure of £25m GWP.

The series of deals marks Iprism’s widening broker access and hones its competitive standing versus direct writers.

Iprism now enjoys a panel of 14 supporting insurers, and with the latest deals it has added Zurich and Fortis to its panel.

The firm caters to a very broad array of SME businesses from teachers to surgeries and doctors, and including blocks of flats and retailers with the scope broadening still further in a matter of weeks.

Kevin Sinclair, MD, has had a pivotal role in the formulation of products and business operations, but now that this crucial stage has been completed he has elected to stand down.
