Ironshore Inc. has announced that Anthony Mammolite has been appointed to the post of executive vice president of its US Property unit.

He brings extensive experience to the position, having worked in the sector for 35 years, including 20 years in property lines.

Prior to taking on his role with Ironshore, Mammolite worked for Lexington Insurance Company as senior VP of Property, and has also held senior posts with AIG.

As executive VP Mammolite will be tasked with providing strategic supervision and direction to the organisation’s US Property business which focuses upon broker-sourced specialty commercial business.

He will be based in New York and will report directly to global head of Ironshore’s Property business, John Murphy.

Shaun Kelly, Ironshore’s US CEO, has welcomed Mammolite’s appointment, and expressed his own excitement at the strength of the firm’s team.
