Admiral and Sword Ciboodle secure deal

Customer-oriented business software and services firm Sword Ciboodle have come to an agreement with Admiral Group to provide the motor insurer with its CRM platform to help it enhance its business flexibility.

Admiral has a number of brands under its umbrella including Bell, Diamond, and elephant.co.uk, and operates with a turnover of over £800m.

It is presently seeking to optimise its efficiency, including becoming more flexible and agile to adapt quickly to new business opportunities in a highly competitive marketplace.

With a brief to increase efficiency and reduce the number of steps needed in processes, Admiral selected Sword Ciboodle to enhance its present customer service agent systems.

Admiral’s contact centres in Swansea and Cardiff will see Sword Ciboodle’s solution rolled out initially.

Admiral’s IT director, Steve Webster, has stated that one of Sword Ciboodle’s most appealing attributes was that it would enable Admiral to incrementally change its systems, rather than forcing an all or nothing approach.

The agreement follows one signed by Sword Ciboodle in early March, which saw it provide advanced CRM to insurance broker BGL Group.
