A pair of Consumer Intelligence Gold Awards have been given to LV= for its motor and home claims service.
In February of this year the firm was awarded the Which? Magazine’s People’s Choice award for its car insurance claims handling meaning it has won a brace of awards already in 2009 for its car insurance.
The Gold Awards are made on the basis of 2,000 individuals who made insurance claims during last year and who are asked about overall levels of satisfaction and specific factors for certain types of insurance (such as a courtesy car for car insurance).
The Which? award was given by 15,000 Which? members casting their votes, which saw the Frizzell brand of LV=’s claims service emerge victorious.
Operations director of general insurance Peter Horton explained that service was at the forefront of the firm’s ethos due to it being a mutual insurer and untroubled by market fluctuations or shareholder pressures.
