Marsh selected by UK Athletics
UKA, the National Governing Body for athletics in the UK, has appointed insurance broker and risk adviser Marsh to manage the UKA’s insurance and risk programmes.
In this capacity Marsh will undertake a comprehensive assessment of the key risks for UKA and its membership and in response craft appropriate insurance coverage.
Adrian Willmott, Marsh’s regional client development director, has expressed his delight at the appointment, adding that it strengthened the firm’s position as a market leader within the UK.
Willmott went on to say that the firm was involved in sport across the globe, and was proud to be collaborating with a sports organisation engaged in the Olympic and Paralympic events coming to London in 2012.
Director of Finance and Operations with UKA, Charles Bartholomew, explained that Marsh had been picked by the firm due to its in-depth knowledge of the sports sector both within the UK and on the world stage.
