Global insurance broker and risk adviser Marsh has doubled its client advisory expertise in the Private Client practice of its Edinburgh branch.
The increase in capability is a reaction to the growing demand for high net worth insurance and risk advice not only in Scotland, but also in the north of England.
Marsh has announced that John Fraser is to be the senior private client manager and that he will be tasked with fostering the firm’s private client business.
Fraser leaves behind Fortis Insurance to join the firm, and brings with him decades of experience in insurance.
Wendy Brady joins as private client team leader, leaving behind Prudential in Stirling where she worked for 17 years as customer service manager.
The team is also bolstered by the presence of Gordon Baillie, client adviser, joining from broker Clark Thomson.
Marsh’s head of Private Client Services, Adrian Saunders, described high net worth insurance needs in Scotland and northern England as a key growth area, and praised the track records of the new team there.
