Bell parts ways with Endurance
Property and casualty insurer and reinsurer Endurance Specialty Holdings Ltd. has announced that its executive VP of Compliance, Thomas D. Bell, is to retire from the firm with effect from 1 June of this year.
His duties will be completed by other members of the executive leadership at Endurance.
Bell was one of Endurance’s founding members, joining the firm in late 2001, and during his time with the organisation has occupied a number of senior posts including executive VP of Reinsurance Operations and president of Endurance Specialty Insurance Ltd.
Prior to helping establish Endurance, he spent over two decades with American Re Corporation in a broad range of roles including that of senior VP for the Regional Middle Markets Marketing Group.
Chairman and CEO Kenneth J. LeStrange has paid tribute to Bell’s efforts at the firm, describing his conduct as exemplary.
LeStrange went on to say that Bell would be missed not only by himself but by his other colleagues at the firm.
