Commercial property and casualty specialists Ironshore Inc. has announced that President Bob Deutsch is to leave the firm, effective from 31 March.

The firm’s chief executive officer, Kevin Kelley, has paid tribute to Deutsch’s contribution to the firm since its foundation in 2007 to its present state with operations in London, the US and Bermuda.

Deutsch himself has thanked the staff of Ironshore for their hard work and dedication over the last two years and described the firm as fortunate to have hired an executive such as Kelley.

The chief executive officer of Ironshore’s operations in the US, Shaun Kelly, is to take on the role of president once Deutsch parts ways with the firm.

The news comes a few days ago Ironshore announced that it had hired Susan Kostro to serve as VP of a new unit, the Program underwriting facility.

Kostro brings with her decades of industry experience and during her lengthy career has held a number of casualty underwriting and management positions.
