Willis forms combined global facultative unit

Global insurance broker Willis Group Holdings has announced that it is forming a new unit, Willis Facultative, which combines the facultative units of Willis and Will Re.

Willis Facultative will bring together the firm’s facultative specialists into a single global business unit, and provide a clear entry point across the world to insurance company clients.

Matthew Keeping will take up the role of chief executive officer of the new unit, with Gianmarco Tosti appointed as MD of Willis Facultative International.

Tosti will be directly responsible to Keeping, and be tasked with developing and handling all non-US facultative business.

Rich Macrane becomes MD of Willis Facultative North America, and will look after facultative business within North America.
