Keoghs appoints new finance and non-executive directors

Keoghs has announced the appointment of Edward Armitage to the role of finance director.

Armitage leaves behind his former employer, online computer hardware firm Overclockers UK, to join the insurance litigation firm.

He brings with him his expertise as a chartered accountant and experience accumulated during the course of his career which has seen him work for Accuma PLC, broker support firm Broker Assistance, the Caudwell Group and Arthur Andersen.

Armitage has expressed his delight at joining Keoghs, and chief executive officer John Whittle has welcomed his appointment.

In addition the firm has appointed Peter Hubbard as a non-executive director.

Hubbard, who is a director of the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII), brings with him over two decades of industry experience and is a former chief executive of AXA.
