ABC Insurance, part of the Liverpool Victoria group (LV=), has been added to the AA’s car insurance panel.
The private car brand, which was launched in 2007, takes its place alongside more than 20 other insurers quoted via the AA’s website or call centres, including sister LV= brand, Highway.
According to the AA, the addition of ABC means that all the major insurers are now represented on its panel.
The AA currently insures over one million motorists in the UK and Phil Bunker, managing director of LV=’s broker business describes it as “one of the strongest motoring brands in the UK”.
Mr Bunker adds that he expects ABC’s underwriting profile to fit well with the AA’s customer base and target market.
The AA’s director of car insurance, Simon Douglas, is confident that the team at ABC shares the AA’s view that “value for money isn’t just about price: it’s about service, policy benefits and above all treating customers fairly”.
Last month, LV= announced that ABC Insurance had been added to a number of BGL Group car insurance panels, initially listed with Budget, Dial Direct and QuoteMart.
During the course of 2009 the brand will be going live on other BGL panels, including those of its affinity arm, Junction.
