Open GI has bolstered its commercial broking capability with the launch of an integrated SME trading platform known as Open Trader.

Open Trader has been formulated to assist brokers by changing the way they handle small package commercial lines business.

In addition, the platform will offer underwriters access to the firm’s broker community for their product distribution.

By simplifying the full cycle process of commercial risk and offering a variety of comparable quotes from insurers Open Trader has been designed to make the process of SME trading easier with enhanced efficiency and reduced costs.

Brokers who are part of the Open GI system will all enjoy access to the new platform which is applicable to numerous markets.

Chris Guillaume, MD, has said that the platform’s launch follows a successful pilot involving 150 brokers.
