Health Lambert opens second Birmingham office

Independent broker, Heath Lambert, is opening a new office in the centre of Birmingham.

The premises, which will be in addition to the firm’s Brierley Hill site in the city, will be formally opened on 4th March by Lord Jones of Birmingham.

It will form the base for 20 commercial insurance and employee benefits specialists while at the same time allowing for the expansion of the group’s Commercial Affinity and small business operations at Brierley Hill.

The head of the broker’s retail national division, Graham Barr, comments: “In being close to insurers and other financial services organisations, as well being on the door step for the corporate client market in the city, we can deliver a service and product mix not currently available in what is, in our view, a rather fragmented market.”

Amanda Jarrett has been appointed development director of the new team, having previously worked for Willis.

According to Heath Lambert, she brings a wealth of local knowledge as well as expertise in arranging bespoke risk transfer and risk management programmes for corporate clients.

Heath Lambert has had a busy year so far, having expanded its high net worth team in Edinburgh and set up partnerships with charities, MedicAlert and East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices, since the beginning of January.
