MMA relaunches commercial combined policy
MMA Insurance has relaunched its commercial combined policy for small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs).
The firm says it is keen to develop its commercial lines business and that policy changes have been applied according to feedback from both brokers and their SME clients.
Enhancements include the addition of cover for refrigerated stock, loss of licence and legal expenses.
MMA’s commercial director, Derek Plummer, explains that having recognised the need for a wide bespoke offering in the SME market, the insurer is “beginning to implement a whole range of initiatives” to demonstrate its commitment to this sector.
Developments are based on research with over 1,000 brokers and the revamp of the Commercial Combined policy is the first of many reviews that will be taking place over the coming months.
In addition, the company is in the process of establishing regional underwriting teams to provide what it says will be a faster and more personal service.
Following the establishment of a regional office in Glasgow last autumn, MMA opened offices in both Manchester and Birmingham earlier this month.
