Assistance insurance brand, Theft Protect, has announced that over 400 brokers have signed up for access to its product.

The cover has been launched by Nice 1 Ltd on the HSBC Platform 24 broker platform, as a stand alone policy that can provide an immediate replacement vehicle for the victims of vehicle theft and certain types of damage.

Cover comprises: immediate like-for-like replacement vehicle for up to 28 days in the case of theft, attempted theft, unauthorised take, vandalism and fault write off.

Brokers set their own selling rate and can access Theft Protect either via the HSBC Platform 24 portal or directly on the Theft Protect website.

The service has also recently been made available to all branches of Coversure Insurance Services.

Nice 1 says it is continuing work on the website which will eventually contain geographical and vehicle related crime data for consumers and blog pages for consumers and brokers.
