RSA launches Prestige Repairer Network

RSA has announced that it has extended its UK repair network, which can now cater for customers with high value cars such as Aston Martins and Porsches.

The new Prestige Repairer Network has been developed alongside a programme of interviews with customers and brokers, aimed at assessing their expectations of a claims service.

From the study it emerged that drivers of high value cars are reluctant to have their vehicles repaired at standard centres.

Instead they are seeking a service of higher quality that will be backed up by a manufacturer’s warranty.

Already 46 new repairers have signed up to the Prestige network and discussions are underway with additional centres.

According to RSA, the facilities for motorist with posh cars are now available from Dover to Aberdeen and can cover the Aston Martin, Ferrari, Porsche, Mercedes, BMW, Audi, Jaguar and Land Rover marques.

RSA has also been busy expanding in Eastern Europe, having reported last week that it is acquiring the 50% that it does not already own of Intouch Insurance Group BV, a general insurer with operations in Poland, the Czech Republic and Russia.
