CUNA Mutual chooses Sterling to provide admin
Sterling Administration Services (SAS), a subsidiary of Sterling Insurance Group, has been chosen by CUNA Mutual Group to be the primary administrative provider of CUNA’s Life Insurance and payment protection policies sold in the UK and Ireland.
Payment protection claims and premiums within the mortgage, personal loan, savings and funeral plan portfolio are to be administered by Sterling.
CUNA is one of the leading firms catering to credit unions (and their members) needs regarding financial services, and has been operating for over seven decades.
John Blundell, MD for Sterling Insurance Group, has expressed delight at having been selected by CUNA.
Blundell went on to say that Sterling Administration Services expects to have more than £250m in premiums under management during the course of 2009.
Sterling is presently in an ambitious mood, despite the economic turbulence of the day.
In an article with Insurance Times from October last year, high net worth specialist David Sweeney confirmed Sterling’s target of making £10m profit from £100m of premium by the end of 2010.
Sterling was founded in the mid-90s, and is clearly retaining its thirst for success regardless of the present difficulties with the economy.
