Price comparison website Confused.com has added five new partners to its list of home, motor and travel insurance providers.

ASDA, Hastings Direct and InsurePink are joining Confused.com’s home insurance panel of over 60 providers – the largest number on any comparison site. ASDA and Hastings Direct are both exclusive to Confused.com.

Supermarket insurer ASDA offers a wide variety of cover options, including ‘new for old’ cover, accidental damage cover, and cover for Christmas and wedding gifts.

Hastings Direct also offers accidental damage and ‘new for old’ cover.

In addition, it provides £500,000 credit card cover, and a 30% no-claims bonus.

InsurePink donates £5 to the Pink Ribbon foundation for every policy sold, and Confused.com will be matching the donation.

FirstAssist has joined Confused.com’s travel insurance panel with its getMY.com brand.

GetMY.com offers competitive deals, including cover for pre-existing medical conditions.

Joining Confused.com’s car insurance panel of 80 providers is 1st Central. This new company has a clear focus on providing exactly the right cover for every individual customer, and its products are exclusively available on price comparison sites.

Confused.com commercial director Peter Ablett said customers of the website are able to find the ‘best products at the right prices’.

Compared to one year ago, Confused.com customers now have 40% more motor insurance prices to choose from, and 90% more house insurance prices.
