Rok opens Mansfield claims centre
Rok, the building firm that specialises in repairs, has opened an insurance claims centre in Mansfield, East Midlands.
The company says the facility, which will handle around 70,000 claims a year, represents a key step forward in becoming the UK’s leading provider of claims management and building repair services.
Rok already has agreements with a number of leading insurance companies, including Zurich, RSA, Fortis, Nationwide Building Society and AXA, and the company has ambitious plans to expand its relationship with the insurance sector.
The new centre can support this growth because staff have the capacity to manage insurance claims on behalf of insurers and policyholders, from first notification through to resolution and completion of repairs.
The firm’s advisors can arrange for independent inspections of properties to assess the circumstances of any claim and advise claimants on the work needed.
Claimants can then decide whether they would prefer to seek their own quotes for the work, or to use Rok’s network of locally employed builders and technicians.
The centre employs over 60 staff and Rok expects new jobs to be created in the months ahead.
