Heath Lambert launches Renewable Energy team
Heath Lambert, the London-based independent insurance broker and employee benefits consultant, has expanded its Retail National division with the formation of a Renewable Energy team.
The firm has a broad base in the renewable energy sector with clients including developers, sponsors, suppliers, contractors, operators and financiers.
The sector is expanding rapidly and Heath Lambert believes its expertise can match the needs of the complex and diverse projects it generates.
Projects could include meteorological masts; tidal, current and wave turbines; wind turbines; landfill gas sites; bio diesel manufacturers; bio mass plants; hydro sites, combined heat and power units and solar power installations.
The new team is headed by Paul Marsh and includes experienced brokers with specialist knowledge of bespoke insurance solutions.
It will be placing insurance for: transit of plant; associated delay in start up / advance loss of profit; construction and erection; testing and commissioning; defects liability; operational risks; mechanical and machinery breakdown; business interruption; third party liability.
The broker can also provide a service to project lenders, undertaking due diligence reviews on their behalf.
