LV= has written to hundreds of brokers engaged in work with ABC or Highway to offer them dual agency agreements.

The letter writing initiative comes after LV= acquired Highway Insurance and is intended to enhance value for brokers.

The acquisition was part of the insurer’s strategic drive to enter the top five in the UK by 2012.

Those brokers involved will be granted access to LV=’s entire range of broker-only insurance products.

Highway and ABC also offer broad ranges of insurance policies in the areas of Car, Fleet, Truck, Motorbike and Home Insurance and Licensing Trade, Shops, Offices & Surgeries, and Commercial Combined Insurance respectively.

Broker Division MD, Phil Bunker, has stated that the dual agency agreements have been offered to enable the brokers to compete in the marketplace more effectively.
