The Chubb Group of Insurance Companies has given Solomon Agency Corp. a personal insurance agency appointment to help enhance service provision for the Korean-American community in New York’s metropolitan area.

Over 2 million Koreans were living in the US five years ago (according to South Korean statistics), with US figures showing that Koreans average a higher income compared to the overall population mean income.

In its position as Chubb’s first Korean-American agency, Solomon can offer its clients Chubb’s Masterpiece insurance products, in addition to providing Chubb products to its commercial customers.

Chubb & Son’s senior VP, James Romanelli, explained that by collaborating with Solomon the firm was able to cater to the needs of a successful and expanding community.

Romanelli added that it fitted in with Chubb’s overall drive to deliver insurance to a more diverse clientele.

It was one of the firm’s other agencies selected to reach a broader customer base, Asian American Business Network, that it first made contact with Solomon.
