KPMG hires investment advisory director

KPMG has announced the appointment of Greg Wright as its new Investment Advisory Practice director, with effect from 6 November.

He brings to the role over two decades of experience in the British pensions and investment sectors, and joins KPMG from Mercer Investment Consulting where he worked as European Principal.

In his former role Wright assisted Mercer’s investment business to develop in the Midlands, and led the firm’s real estate research in Europe.

In his new post Wright’s primary task will be providing clients with comprehensive guidance regarding the entire area of investment.

Further to this, he will be responsible for leadership of the firm’s real estate research.

Based in Birmingham, Wright will report directly to Patrick McCoy, Investment Advisory Chief.

Patrick McCoy has welcomed Wright’s appointment, praising his experience and knowledge of the industry in the UK.
