APC begins expansion plans with three BDMs
APC, the commercial insurance underwriting agency, has hired three initial business development managers (BDMs) as part of its strategic regional expansion plan.
The trio of experienced individuals joined the firm this week and will comprise the UK regional platform which APC intends will double revenue in three years and triple them within five.
The first of the BDMs is Ryan Squire, who leaves behind Broker Network Insurance Brokers where he served as director of operations to take up his new post which will see him working alongside APC’s brokers based in the Midlands and North Wales.
Brokers from North London and the East of England will be handled by Paul Craig, formerly director and business development manager of retail broker Boothby Taylor.
The last of the initial BDMs is Andrew Yemm, who was BDM for Holmans where he was responsible for South West, Midlands and South Wales. In his new role he will handle brokers in the South West and South Wales.
The number of BDMs with APC is expected to be increased in the near future, as the firm wishes to enhance its relationships with brokers across the regions by having an actual physical presence in addition to more remote methods of communication.
BDMs will be able to provide in-depth knowledge of their specific region(s), and allow for more visits and quicker response times.
