AXA Insurance has broadened its product range for motor insurance with the addition of a newly launched personal lines intermediary (PLI) motor product: AXA Car.

AXA Car has been designed to cater to the needs of the low risk driver and provides coverage for Comprehensive and Third Party Fire and Theft.

Utilising a new, advanced ratings system, risk can now be calculated to a greater degree of precision, enabling the firm to offer more individual prices.

Drivers who are safe can expect very competitive prices from AXA Car, as well as a policy wording designed to be easy to read and understand, as part of AXA’s aim to enhance customer communication.

Those who take advantage of the new product will each be assigned their own dedicated case handler (based in Birmingham or Ipswich), and receive SMS text message updates during important times of the claims process.

AXA Car is presently being rolled out to all partners, which will be finished at the end of next January.

Open GI and Acturis will gain the new product in November, which is currently available from Insurecom, CDL and SSP and partners Kwik Fit Insurance Services and Swinton.
