Richard Etridge has been named by Glacier Insurance AG as the firm’s new chief executive officer.
In becoming CEO, Etridge succeeds Robbie Klaus and will retain his place in the upper echelons of Glacier’s leadership.
Etridge brings two decades of experience in the insurance sector to the role, and has held a number of senior underwriting positions for a range of large insurance firms including GE Frankona, Faraday and Converium.
He has worked for Glacier Group since its inception four years ago and was a founder member of Glacier.
Glacier Group’s CEO Robbie Klaus has welcomed the appointment, describing Etridge’s contribution to the Group’s progression as vital.
Klaus went on to praise the extensive experience and managerial talents he would bring to his new post.
