Comet Replacement Services celebrates its 15th birthday
Comet Replacement Services (CRS) has celebrated a grand total of 15 years in the business.
CRS, which falls under the wing of Comet’s business-to-business arm, was created in 1993 and now deals with 150,000 claims every year, handling a broad range of technology from washing machines to cameras.
Research conducted by Comet in May of this year shows that contemporary Britons are more attached to technology than has ever previously been the case.
Objects such as televisions and computers can play crucial roles in people’s lives, and CRS recognises this fact, particularly given the explosion in the utility of the internet.
Business development manager Sue Cuthbert explains that when technology, most especially communications technology, is damaged, individuals want it repaired as expeditiously and inexpensively as possible.
That is the approach taken by CRS, she states, emphasising speed, efficiency and low costs to the customer.
Cuthbert also reveals that most people consider the internet to be the most important technology in their lives today, with items such as kettles appearing lower down, which Cuthbert uses to highlight just how significantly the world has changed since 1993.
