Ernst & Young appoint leader to new Brussels Center
Ernst & Young has announced the appointment of Philippe Peuch-Lestrade to head up the firm’s new Brussels-based Global Government and Public Sector Center.
Peuch-Lestrade, a partner with Ernst & Young et Associés, will play an advisory role in public finance management, dispensing suggestions regarding the spheres of transparency, cost reduction and accountability on public policies.
He has been with the firm for over two decades, during which time he led the Financial Services Office of Ernst & Young et Associés.
He has stated that globally, governments are presented with ever more complex challenges such as climate change, security and the shifting worldwide economic situation.
The opening of the centre he is to lead reflects the increasing demand by governments for advisory services.
Herman Hulst, global managing partner of Client Service and Accounts, has welcomed Peuch-Lestrade’s appointment, adding that coupled with the new Global Government and Public Sector Center the firm would be able to offer even better services to its clients.
