Aon Consulting has bolstered its pensions administration team with the addition of two new directors.

Kevin Smith and Paul Hartfield have been appointed to take advantage of the lucrative opportunities for expansion, and the team’s enduring growth.

Together the two men add almost half a century of experience to the team.

Smith becomes transition director, and Hartfield takes up the role of client service director, with both men tasked with enhancing the pensions administration operational leadership team.

Smith will also be responsible for Aon’s approach regarding operational and transition strategy for the firm’s proposition to larger schemes.

He joins the firm from Capita Hartshead, and comes with almost three decades of pensions administration experience.

Hartfield leaves behind the post of scheme member services director at Xafinity Paymaster to join Aon, and in his new position will be responsible for running the Farnborough pensions administration operation.

He will be responsible for 130 staff, and the team caters to the needs of over 100 clients.
