Endurance appoint new executive VP
Bermuda-based insurer and reinsurer Endurance Specialty Holdings Ltd has announced the appointment of Joseph C. O’Donnell as executive VP.
O’Donnell will join the Professional Liability part of the firm, and brings to it a quarter of a century of industry experience.
The majority of his long career was spent with Chubb Specialty Insurance Company, which he spent more than two decades with.
He most recently served in New York with Arch Insurance Group working as executive VP of the Executive Assurance Group.
In his new post O’Donnell will be tasked with the development of a New York-based U.S. Professional Lines Practice, with an emphasis on building accounts with the Fortune 1000.
Additionally, he will lead the large account Professional Liability strategy throughout the company.
Endurance Worldwide Insurance CEO and chairman Michael Fujii has welcomed the appointment, and praised his leadership skills and achievements.
