International specialist insurer Hiscox and Congregational & General Insurance have agreed to embark upon a strategic partnership together.

The move will initially involve a co-insurance arrangement for Congregational’s household account.

As time goes by the agreement will progress and take on other products and services.

Congregational’s MD, Carlo Cavaliere, has commented on the deal, stating that the firm shares many key values with Hiscox and as such are excited to be entering into a strategic partnership.

Steve Langan, Hiscox UK’s MD, has praised Congregational’s culture of underwriting discipline and the same beliefs about customers and their needs as Hiscox.
