Global insurer and risk adviser Marsh has announced the appointment of William Diaz as the new head of Marsh Client Technologies.

Marsh Client Technologies is a newly created unit incorporating MarshConnect and CS STARS, (Marsh’s global client technology interface and a leading provider of risk and claims management systems and related data services respectively).

Diaz has been with the firm for over a decade, most recently occupying a number of leadership positions within CS STARS.

Diaz’s new position will entail working alongside Marsh’s leaders and engaging with the firm’s clientele in order to improve client-facing technology across a broad range of areas.

He will report directly to president of US/Canada Operations, Joseph McSweeny.

McSweeny has explained that by unifying the drive for enhancing client-facing technologies under the leadership of Diaz the firm believes it will be able to accelerate the process, improving the customer experience more quickly than might otherwise be possible.
