Moneysupermarket.com, the leading price comparison website, has announced the appointment of Andy Leadbetter to the post of acting managing director for Insurance and Home Services.

Prior to working for the site, he was employed by insurer Swiftcover as an IT project manager.

Leadbetter first joined the firm in October of last year, when he assumed the role of head of Home and Motor Insurance.

In May he was promoted to head of Insurance and Home services, and with his new posting will join the Executive Management Team.

Strong growth has been enjoyed by the moneysupermarket’s insurance and home services verticals during the time that Leadbetter has played substantial roles in the two sectors.

In his new position as acting MD, Leadbetter will be tasked with ensuring that the growth continues uninterrupted in both areas.
