Insurance Services speeds up injury claims
Insurance Services Office (ISO), which specialises in personal injury claims services and solutions, has teamed up with medico-legal software provider, WARP Technologies.
The company has integrated its Claims Outcome Advisor system with WARP’s medical reporting software and says it has created the first solution to entirely digitise the medical reporting process between doctors and insurers.
ISO’s director of client services, Joe Pendle, explains that approximately 80% of all motor personal injury claims are whiplash or soft tissue injuries that are not complex but even so can take up to 12 months to process.
According to ISO, the combined systems can dramatically reduce personal injury claims’ lifecycles by streamlining the existing process.
Medical reports produced using WARP’s software can be imported into ISO’s database of clients’ historical settlement amounts for similar claims.
The integration of the technologies can decrease the risk of claims handlers misinterpreting a medical report, while at the same time allowing doctors to speedily produce medical reports for claimant solicitors and insurers.
