Cathie Bruce, distribution and customer service director with Groupama Insurances, is to move within the UK Group to take up a new position.

Bruce is to become managing director of specialist broking subsidiary ChoiceQuote Insurance Services Limited, acquired by Groupama earlier in the year.

She will be based at the firm’s head office in Liverpool, and will assume her new post in November.

Bruce will be responsible to chief executive officer Philip Catterall initially, with the intention being that she will succeed him when he retires later next year.

Groupama Insurances CEO, François-Xavier Boisseau, paid tribute to Bruce’s contribution over the last four years, adding that her new post would present an exciting challenge for her whilst allowing the Group to retain her talents.
