Aon Jauch & Hübener has announced the appointment of Andreas Bruckner to the newly created position of chief commercial officer.
Bruckner is to assume the role on 1 January 2009, and leaves behind Zurich Financial Services (where he led the Global Industry Clients Division) to join the firm.
He first entered the sector as an aviation and transport underwriter for Gerling Group, where he progressed into the ranks of upper management.
After over a decade with the Group, he moved to Zurich as chief underwriting officer five years ago, and since 2004 has been the executive leading the Global Industry Clients Division.
Ralph P. Liebke, country chairman for Germany, welcomed Bruckner’s appointment, and has praised his successful track record in a customer-oriented worldview.
