Chris Lorsung has been named by Willis Group Holdings as leader of the Minneapolis Commercial Construction Practice.
He joined Willis nine years ago, leaving behind St. Paul Insurance Company, where he worked in the construction unit in a number of roles.
Lorsung, who assumes his new position with immediate effect, will keep his title as senior vice president of Willis of Minnesota, Inc.
He replaces Andy Mahoney, who remains with the firm to service current clients and to expand the practice through acquiring new business.
As Construction Practice leader, Lorsung will be responsible for heading up a 46-strong team and pushing forward profit and growth.
Willis’ managing partner in Minnesota, Al Thomas, has expressed his confidence in the talent and experience of Lorsung to provide a quality service to existing clients, and to attract new ones.
